dota2菠菜技巧-刀塔2DPC西欧巡回赛1全站赛事比分预测 刀塔数据极速 kept the recent trend of gaming remakes rolling at the recent Nintendo Direct event, announcing that a remastered version of We Love Katamari will arrive on PC and consoles this summer as We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie. The decision to revisit the iconic franchise comes as several other developers have announced their own remasters of classic PlayStation games in recent months.

Although best known these days for publishing the moody action RPG Elden Ring, it was Katamari Damacy’s decidedly cuter aesthetic that helped Bandai Namco gain acclaim from gamers in the early 2000s. Debuting with 2004’s Katamari Damacy, which tasked players with rolling up anything and everything in sight to impress the off-kilter King of All Cosmos, the light-hearted franchise saw several sequels released across multiple consoles. Released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005, the initial sequel We Love Katamari was well received by players and critics upon launch. Featuring a hilariously meta story that sees the King of All Cosmos once again sending his son out to collect all manner of random objects, this time to impress fans of the first game, the sequel received praise for its co-op mode and wildly eclectic soundtrack.

Debuting during the Nintendo Direct event, a new trailer revealed that We Love Katamari is receiving a multi-platform remaster in the form of We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie. The remaster features updated graphics which highlight the game’s colorful, cartoonish aesthetic, and appears to be keeping the original release’s co-op modes. In addition to classic gameplay modes, the trailer also touts all-new levels and items to roll up, the ability to customize playlists from the game’s soundtrack, and even a new Selfie feature that lets players snap screenshots as the Prince of All Cosmos.

While some gamers have expressed frustration over the growing number of video game remakes in recent years, many of those commenting on the We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie trailer seemed to be beside themselves with excitement. Capturing the excitement likely shared by many gamers, one reply stated that, between the remastered Katamari and Metroid Prime releases and new information on Pikmin 4, this was the “Best Direct Ever!!!” Other gamers, who’d missed out on the original release of We Love Katamari, expressed their excitement at having another chance to play the classic title.

For gamers looking for something a bit more absurd and amusing after years of playing serious shooters and grimdark RPGs, We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie could be the perfect pick-me-up when it releases in June. And for fans of designer Keita Takahashi’s hit franchise, it may help make the wait for the Katamari Damacy creator’s next game a little easier.

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie releases on June 2 for PS4, PS5, dota2dac竞猜, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
